Understanding the breed
Poverty Hill Farm was established in 2009. We added the Idaho Pasture Pig (IPP) in 2021. This special breed of pigs were developed by cross breeding Duroc, Old Berkshire, and the KuneKune. This breed is a true grazing pig with their diet consisting mostly of grass, only 10%-20% comes from grains & minerals.
